Public tenders for AI services.
You are putting together a bid for a tender and need someone for AI integration, operations or enablement who is on site in the Greater Zurich area and works in German? Through my company Geistzeit I take part in public and private tenders in Switzerland. I take on a whole work package or individual tasks from it.
Where I sit in your bid
As a subcontractor
In a prime contractor's bid, as a declared subcontractor with a clearly defined work package, for example AI integration.
As a named key expert
Named in the bid, with CV and reference projects in German. For the suitability check and for the evaluation of the people.
In a bidding consortium
Where the tender allows it, together with partners who cover, for example, the platform, security or 24/7 operations.
- Framework agreements with call-offs over several years fit well: I take on individual call-offs, from a few days to several months at 20 to 100 percent.
- For each tender and lot I am part of exactly one bid. So ask early.
The tasks I can take on

AI service design and solution engineering
Advisory, design of AI services, solution architecture, operating model, evaluation of models and vendors, piloting and proof of concept.
AI platforms and infrastructure
Build-out and development on Google Cloud, Azure and AWS, infrastructure as code, self-hosted language models in the cloud and on premises.
AI solutions and integration
Building AI agents, agentic workflows and automations and integrating them into existing systems, processes and data sources: APIs, CRM, data warehouse, knowledge bases.
AI operations and service management
Operations, monitoring and tracing, lifecycle of models and prompts, error analysis, quality management with evaluations and regression tests, integrated into existing service management processes. 24/7 operations as a team with partners.
Governance, security and compliance
Data protection under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR, EU AI Act, guardrails and red teaming against prompt injection, risk analyses for AI applications, contributing to information security certifications and audits.
Knowledge transfer and enablement
Coaching, training, enabling internal teams, handover with runbook and documentation.

Does Geistzeit take part in public tenders?
Yes. Felix Zeeb takes part, through his company Geistzeit in Zurich, in public tenders and private RFPs for AI services in Switzerland: as a subcontractor, as a named key expert with CV and references or in a bidding consortium. The tasks range from AI service design and integration through platforms and operations to governance and enablement.
Which tasks do you take on?
Tasks from six areas: AI service design and solution engineering, AI platforms and infrastructure, AI solutions and integration, AI operations and service management (24/7 operations as a team with partners), governance, security and compliance, and knowledge transfer and enablement. Depending on the bid, I take on a whole area or individual tasks from it.
Where are you on site?
In the Greater Zurich area whenever needed. Elsewhere in German-speaking Switzerland by arrangement, otherwise remote.

Are you part of several bids for the same tender?
No. For each tender and lot I am part of exactly one bid. Whoever asks early can plan with me.
